Surprise Wedding Photographer - Norman and Jo

Surprises aren’t easy to plan, especially when most of the people attending an event are going to be surprised. Norman and Jo wanted to get married where they met, singing karaoke at Stacey Jane’s in Hampton. They also wanted people to just have fun, much like they would have on any other night that Norman and Jo hung out at Stacey Jane’s. So, they arranged to have a taco and tequila night and invited their friends and family to join them. No doubt, most people came with their own suspicions. If you asked around, people would tell you they thought they were about to witness a marriage proposal. That was the genius of Norman and Jo’s plan. The night went along with people singing and enjoying themselves all with an air of excitement as to what was to come. The small group that knew were often busy plotting the final event. Finally, Norman stepped up to the microphone and asked everyone if they had any suspicions as to why they were there, hands went up. He proposed to Jo as she stood in the audience and then she came up with a list of demands. She would only get married if they did it right then and there. They needed a few things like decorations, a best man, rings, a dress, and many other things. Conveniently, Norman’s son was dressed in a blue tuxedo T-shirt and top hat at that very moment and was ushered up to the stage. Jo rushed off to put on the dress she had hidden in the back, while their friend, an ordained minister with credentials hidden in an envelope, also prepared.

As you can imagine, a small room with a surprise wedding can be quite boisterous. There were cheers, tears, laughs and plenty of dancing. None of that stopped Norman and Jo from stealing quiet moments together savoring the very romantic beginning of their marriage.
